Job Description – Logistics Executive
Position: Logistics Executive
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore
Department: Operations / Logistics
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations including dispatch, routing, and tracking of consignments
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining service quality standards
- Manage warehouse activities such as loading/unloading, inventory checks, and documentation
- Liaise with drivers, vendors, and customers to resolve operational issues
- Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and route efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and compliance documents
- Support branch manager in planning and optimizing logistics processes
- Handle customer queries and provide proactive updates on shipment status
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics/transport operations (road transport preferred)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and logistics management software
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
