Job Description: -Instrumentation Technician

Location: -Ludhiana

Positions Available: -Instrumentation Technician (24 positions)

Experience: 4-6 years

Education:- ITI Instrumentation

Salary:

• CTC: 25,500/month

• Gross: 21,500/month

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed shift reports documenting activities and observations related to the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instruments.

2. Implement and maintain 5S principles in the laboratory and shop floor, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

3. Identify and resolve issues through troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime of instrumentation equipment.

4. Execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on flow meters, valves, level transmitters, load cells, networking and communication equipment, and DCS panels.

5. Perform calibration activities as per the defined schedule and maintain detailed records and reports of calibration processes.

6. Parameterize field instruments to ensure accurate and reliable data measurement and transmission.

7. Handle the installation, cabling, ferrule, lugging, and termination of instruments for new additions or modifications.

8. Maintain earth pits to ensure a proper grounding system for instrumentation equipment.

9. Collaborate with vendors for Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) work, providing necessary assistance for the upkeep of instrumentation systems.

10. Manage communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet, including connection and termination activities.

11. Identify and rectify air leakages in instruments, pig lines, and packing machines to maintain optimal functionality.
