Job Responsibilities:
A QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Associate is responsible for various tasks to provide efficient and
satisfactory customer service in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting. Their main duties
include:
• Order Taking: Greeting customers, taking their orders, and ensuring accuracy in recording
their food preferences and special requests.
• Food Preparation: Preparing food items according to standardized recipes and ensuring
they meet quality and safety standards.
• Assembling Orders: Putting together orders, including packaging, condiments, and any
additional items customers request.
• Cashiering: Handling cash transactions, processing credit or debit card payments, and
providing change to customers.
• Customer Service: Interacting with customers in a friendly and courteous manner,
addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation stations
clean and organized, following safety and hygiene protocols.
• Restocking Supplies: Monitoring inventory levels of food, beverages, and other supplies and
restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive-Thru Operations: Assisting with drive-thru orders, handling payment transactions,
and coordinating with the kitchen team for timely service.
• Adhering to Company Policies: Following the restaurant's operational guidelines, health
and safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other QSR Associates and team members to ensure efficient
workflow and excellent customer service.
• Upselling and Promotions: Suggest additional items or promotions to customers to
enhance their dining experience and increase sales.
• Handling Customer Feedback: Listening to customer feedback, addressing complaints or
concerns, and escalating issues to supervisors or managers when necessary.
