Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side. With a workforce of over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry. CDL is currently looking for a Software Engineer to work remotely develop and maintain our Oracle-based applications.

The Senior Software Engineer shall be reporting to the Head of IT.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain Oracle-based applications using PL/SQL and other Oracle technologies

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Internal Custom-built ERP Applications

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software releases

• Collaborate with other developers and Business Owners to ensure the timely delivery of software solutions

• Participate in the design and development of new software features and functionality

What are we looking for?

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is required.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role

• Experience in Oracle development tools and oracle APEX is a prerequisite

• Good Knowledge of PL/SQL, Java, or JavaScript

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Strong presence of mind and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communications and presentation skills

• Ability to learn new languages and technologies

• A self-learner passionate about technology with the ability to work

• Ability to work independently and in team
