Purpose of the position 
    The Sewing Machine Operator carries out the sewing operations of garments to required specifications within the allocated time to meet target efficiency.
Key responsibilities
Perform the sewing/fusing operation to meet daily production targets with required Quality level.
Verify that the machine ready for operation and cleaned before the start.
Meet hourly targets based on the operator operation instructions
Ensuring that the garment is properly handled and use attachments properly to reduce handling time.
Ensuring that the garment components and fabrics are gently handled to avoid damage and soiling.
Informing the line leader, supervisor in case of any breakdown.
Convey the production issues & kaizens to the supervisors in top 5 meeting
Ensuring the up-keep of the line machine.
Ensuring that proper procedures are adopted in case of needle breakage.
Ensuring that supervisor advice is sought in case of quality problems and that corrective action is taken.
Ensuring that safety procedures and international standards are adopted by the operators properly as per factory requirements.

Ideal Qualifications
    Minimum of  6th std with pass in dexterity tests.
