Opportunities in Japan:

• Specified Skilled Worker’ (SSW) is a new program by the Government of Japan to allow aspiring Indian youth to come to Japan and work.
• Japan introduced ‘Specified Skilled Worker’ to address the severe labor shortages in Japan by accepting foreign human resources with specific expertise and skills.
• India and Japan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in January 2021 for the implementation of ‘Specified Skilled Worker’ between India and Japan.

Job Requirements:

F&B Service Staff

• Guest handling.
• Order taking from customers. 
• Serving dishes.
• Food Menu explanation.
• Reception jobs (Welcoming guests, Reservation management, Telephone inquiries).
• Billing.
• Prepare the alcoholic beverages (Bartender jobs). 
• Table/Hall/Toilet cleanup as and when required.

Kitchen Staff

• Preparation of ingredients
• Cooking in sections such as appetizers, pasta, main dishes, and desserts
• Washing the dishes/ kitchen equipment • Cleaning up the Kitchen areas/ toilets as and when needed
• Develop new menu items (in the future)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be within the age group of 20 to 27 years.
• Who are willing to learn Japanese Language full-time for approx. 9 months to pass the SSW related exams successfully to obtain the work visa)

For candidates who are FRESHER with No experiences:

• Passed Hospitality Management diploma or degree and having exposure in internship / OJT.

For Candidates who have experiences, we are expecting

• Candidates to have experience in Restaurant (or) in the Hotel Industry.

Documents to be collected and shared with NSDCI after the candidates pass the screening test:

• Age Proof
• Education qualification certificates
• Job experience certificate
• Passport

Other details:

• Candidate can earn average 1 lakh INR plus overtime (As applicable) per month
• Overall, the candidates have the potential of saving approximately INR 50,000/- to INR 70,000/- per month.
• The candidates can stay in Japan up to 5 years with possible further extension to stay for long term employment visibility
• The selected candidates will undergo full time paid Japanese language training for 9 months by NSDCI in identified location (Gurugram / Dehradun / Hyderabad / Varanasi/Greater Noida)
•  Regular interaction with Japanese natives for better exposure.
• The candidate must pass Japanese Language Exams and SSW Skill Exams as per the schedule.
• No Recruitment Fees are to be paid by the candidate
• Only Japanese Language training fees is being charged by NSDCI.( Skill Loan Option Is available)
