Injection Molding technician

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to join our team and ensure efficient and effective operation of our injection moulding machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines and related equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills who can ensure high-quality production output and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup and Operation:

   • Set up and operate injection molding machines and related equipment according to specified procedures and work instructions.
   • Prepare molds and ensure proper installation in machines, including aligning and clamping.
   • Adjust machine settings, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time, to meet quality standards and production goals.

2. Process Optimization:

   • Monitor and fine-tune the injection molding process to optimize productivity and efficiency.
   • Conduct process trials and testing to improve product quality and reduce waste.
   • Work with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements.

3. Quality Control:

   • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
   • Troubleshoot and adjust machines as necessary to prevent defects and maintain consistent product quality.
   • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of production data and machine settings.

4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

   • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues that arise during the molding process.
   • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines to minimize downtime.
   • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and service of equipment.

5. Safety and Compliance:

   • Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
   • Train and assist other team members on safe operation of injection molding equipment.
   • Identify potential safety risks and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: 12th, ITI
• Physical Requirements:  work in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Full-time, may require shift work or overtime depending on production needs.
