FITTER

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our manufacturing plant team. The Fitter will assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment to ensure production efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. This role is critical to maintaining safety standards and ensuring machinery runs optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install new machinery, mechanical components, and production equipment based on technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Diagnose issues, dismantle defective parts, and replace or repair parts as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production downtime. Use diagnostic tools and technical expertise to determine root causes.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure all work complies with plant safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to coordinate equipment repairs, updates, and improvements as needed.
