Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator at Furnisys will support project management operations by handling the administrative and organizational aspects of project execution. This role is crucial for maintaining project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring effective communication among project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and workflows.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring all deadlines are met.

2. Resource Coordination:

  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Manage logistical aspects of project execution, ensuring that resources are available as needed.

3. Documentation and Administrative Support:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and distribute project updates and reports to all relevant stakeholders.

4. Communication Facilitation:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications related to projects.
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project statuses.

5. Support Project Manager:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, ideally in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based but may require visits to project sites.
  • Requires excellent time management to handle multiple project deadlines.
