We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef specializing in Pan Asian cuisine to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing and presenting authentic dishes from regions such as Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, and other Southeast Asian cuisines. This role requires strong leadership, innovation, and a deep understanding of Pan Asian culinary traditions with a modern twist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire kitchen operations for the Pan Asian section.
- Design and develop creative, authentic, and high-quality Pan Asian menus.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste across all dishes.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, control food costs, and manage procurement of specialty ingredients.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, pricing, and promotions.
- Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and innovations in Pan Asian cuisine.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–8 years of professional culinary experience in Pan Asian kitchens.
- Proven experience in a senior chef role (Sous Chef or Executive Chef Level).
- Strong knowledge of regional Asian cuisines, ingredients, and cooking methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or formal training in Asian cuisine is an added advantage.
