The STP Operator is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant. Duties include monitoring treatment processes, performing routine checks, maintaining equipment, filling cjemicals, removing separated solids and sludge, doing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations to produce treated water that meets quality standards.

Responsibilities include but not limited to,

• Operate and control STP equipment (e.g., pumps, blowers other electrical equipment, filters, Ultrafiltration).
• Monitor treatment processes (biological, chemical, physical) and intervene as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Test water quality and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Handle chemical dosing and sludge disposal as per guidelines.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and report operational issues.

Work Conditions:

• Plant environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and wastewater.
• May require rotating shifts (day/night) and emergency call-outs.
