Job Summary :

A Hospital Duty Manager oversees and coordinates all hospital operations during their shift, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient care. They are responsible for managing staff, addressing issues, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This includes overseeing patient care, facilities, security, and administration, while also ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures. 

In summary, a Hospital Duty Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a hospital, focusing on patient care, staff support, and operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:

    Ensuring patients receive adequate care and addressing any concerns that arise. 

  • Operational Efficiency:

    Monitoring and improving daily operations, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety. 

  • Compliance:

    Ensuring adherence to hospital policies, regulations, and safety protocols. 

  • Communication:

    Liaising with other departments and management to resolve issues and improve workflows. 

  • Problem Solving:

    Addressing urgent issues and finding solutions to operational challenges. 

  • Staff Management:

    Overseeing staff schedules, addressing concerns, and providing guidance as needed.
