Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Operator with at least  1 years of hands-on experience, preferably in the sugar or paper industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting boiler systems to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high/low pressure boilers, auxiliary equipment, and steam systems.

• Monitor and control boiler parameters including pressure, temperature, and fuel levels.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boiler systems and related equipment.

• Maintain logs of operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.

• Respond promptly to alarms or abnormalities, diagnosing and correcting issues.

• Coordinate with maintenance and production departments for smooth operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and government regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the boiler room.

• Handle water treatment processes and monitor water quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years of experience operating boilers in the sugar or paper industry.

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or relevant technical field.

• Boiler Attendant Certificate (as per local/state regulatory requirement).

• Solid knowledge of steam generation systems, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Experience with water treatment, fuel systems (coal, bagasse, or oil), and associated auxiliary equipment.

• Ability to work in shifts and under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with automation and SCADA systems.

• Basic knowledge of electrical controls and instrumentation.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Team player with a safety-first mindset.
