Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and products. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with product, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and high-performance mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Conduct engineering calculations and perform simulations (FEA/CFD) to validate designs.
Develop and execute test plans to evaluate product performance and reliability.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production (DFM/DFA).
Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, and design specifications.
Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for mechanical failures or quality issues.
Participate in product lifecycle management from concept to production launch.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
3–6 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD).
Experience with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and thermal/fluid dynamics.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, or HVAC is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems.
Knowledge of rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies.
Certification (e.g., EIT, PE, or CSWP) is a plus.
