We are looking for a Bartenders having a good knowledge of Bar, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking orders, mixing drinks, managing bar inventory, verifying IDs, interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean bar environment. They also contribute to the overall guest experience by providing recommendations and ensuring a positive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving Drinks: Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, and wine.
- Taking Orders: Receiving orders either at the bar or from seated customers. Also explaining the Menu if needed.
- Customer Interaction: Greeting customers, offering recommendations, and providing a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Verification: Checking customer IDs to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
- Bar Maintenance: Keeping the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Payment Processing: Accepting payment from customers for drinks and balancing cash receipts.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring and restocking bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and ice.
- Responsible Service: Refusing service to guests who are visibly intoxicated or disruptive.
- Complying with Regulations: Adhering to local and national liquor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: Typically must be 21 years of age to work as a bartender.
- Basic Math Skills: Needed for processing payments and managing inventory.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers in a positive and friendly manner.
- Knowledge of Drinks: Familiarity with various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails and their ingredients.
- Experience: Some Bartending experience or experience in a similar service environment is often preferred.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Upselling: Suggesting specials and higher-priced items to customers.
- Recipe Creation: Developing new cocktail recipes.
- Bar Menu Planning: Contributing to the creation of bar menus.
- Training: May be responsible for training new bartenders or assisting with bar staff orientation.
