  Skills & Attributes:

  ·       Basic mechanical aptitude: An understanding of mechanical principles is helpful. 

  ·       Technical skills: Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge related to HVAC systems. 

  ·       Communication skills: Good communication skills for interacting with technicians and clients. 

  ·       Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems effectively. 

  ·       Physical fitness: Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in confined spaces, and work at heights. 

  ·       Punctuality and reliability: Ability to arrive on time and complete tasks reliably. 

  ·       Attention to detail: Accuracy and attention to detail in performing tasks and documenting work. 

  ·       Ability to work in a team: Work effectively with other technicians and team members. 

   

  Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist with installations: Help with the installation of various refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including split systems, window units, and ductless systems. 
• Learn maintenance tasks: Participate in routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of equipment. 
• Troubleshoot and repair: Under supervision, learn to diagnose and repair issues with refrigeration and air conditioning systems. 
• Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures when working with refrigerant, electrical components, and equipment. 
• Document work: Assist in documenting service activities and maintenance logs. 
• Learn about different systems: Gain knowledge of various systems, including VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, and central AC plants. 
• Work with tools and equipment: Learn to use various hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment, including voltmeters, pressure gauges, and measuring devices. 
• Adhere to timelines and budget: Follow instructions, meet deadlines, and contribute to project completion within budget.
