Role Overview:
We are looking for energetic and result-driven Field Sales Executives to drive merchant acquisition and onboarding for PhonePe in the Mumbai region. You will be responsible for identifying potential merchants, pitching PhonePe’s services, and ensuring seamless onboarding and activation.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and onboard new merchants in your assigned territory.
Educate merchants about PhonePe's features, benefits, and how to use the app.
Ensure seamless installation, KYC verification, and activation of services.
Drive adoption and transaction volume through relationship building and training.
Track performance of onboarded merchants and provide necessary support.
Maintain daily visit logs, performance reports, and update CRM tools.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Handle merchant grievances and coordinate with internal support teams for resolution.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum HSC (12th pass); graduates preferred.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in fintech, telecom, FMCG, or consumer durables.
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Basic smartphone and app-handling proficiency.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of local geography and fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
