Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s in Paramedical Technology / Diploma in E.E.G. & E.M.G. Technician Courses.

EXPERIENCE:  3+ years’ experience in >200 beds Hospital. Well versed with computer skill like MS Office, hospital HIS and other software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Setup & Preparation: Get the room and equipment ready for procedures, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment. Prepare necessary materials and medicines.

·         Patient Handling: Get the patient ready, explain the procedure, position them correctly, and help them after the procedure is done.

·         Equipment Use: Choose the right technique and settings, adjust and calibrate the equipment, and make sure the patient is properly supported or positioned.

·         Procedure Execution: Follow the correct steps for each procedure, using the appropriate tools and settings.

·         Inventory & Admin Work: Manage supplies and keep stock updated. Help with basic office tasks like scheduling patients, recording billing codes, and delivering reports.

·         Mobile Testing: If needed, carry equipment to a patient's room to perform tests there.

·         Maintenance & Safety: Take care of all equipment, follow safety standards, and work towards keeping the environment safe and clean.

·         Operational Support: Manage inventory and daily operations efficiently by following company policies and using resources wisely.

·         Process Improvement: Help develop and apply better ways to run operations smoothly.

·         Client Communication: Never start any process without formal approval from the client or their representative.
