Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Incoming Quality Control (IQC):

·         Inspect incoming materials (e.g., Castings machine components, field coils, armatures, gears) as per standard checklists.

·         Verify vendor compliance with drawings, specifications, and test parameters.

·         Prepare and maintain IQC records and rejection reports.

·         Coordinate with the purchase team and vendors for any deviations.

·         Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) on Vendor Side.

·         Metallurgical Knowledge.

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC):

·         Perform stage-wise inspections on sub-assemblies (e.g., main body, gear housing, cover plate, motor assembly).

·         Use checklists to monitor process parameters, dimensions, and workmanship.

·         Ensure first piece approval (FPA) is done as per SOP.

·         Immediately escalate any non-conformities and stop production if required.

Vendor Quality Control (VQC):

·         To visit vendor factory for pre dispatch inspections as and when required.

Documentation & Reporting:

·         Maintain daily inspection logs, rejection records, and control charts.

·         Prepare Material Deviation Reports (MDR), CAPA reports.

·         Ensure traceability of components and maintain serial number-wise records.

Calibration & Equipment Monitoring:

·         Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are calibrated as per schedule.

·         Maintain records of calibration and ensure accuracy of measuring instruments.

Key Skills Required:

·         Good understanding of mechanical/electrical drawings (GD&T) and specifications.

·         Knowledge of inspection tools (Vernier, micrometer, multimeter, APG, Hardness Tester, Bore Gauge, etc.).

·         Familiarity with quality tools and documentation (CAPA, RCA, 7QC tools).

·         Proficiency in SAP & MS Office (Excel, Word) for report generation.

·         Good communication and coordination skills with production and vendors.

·         Basic Electrical Testing Knowledge

·         Communication with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Dispatch, Vendor).

Salary Bracket : 30k to 40k  Gross per month
