1. Role Overview

The Apprentice will be immersed in real production environments, working under mentorship to gain hands-on experience in:

• Operating and maintaining production and packaging machinery

• Performing assembly line tasks and quality inspections

• Conducting in-process and final product quality checks

• Handling materials and packaging operations

• Adhering to SOPs, GMP, safety, and quality processes

2. Key Responsibilities

• Machine Handling & Production Support: Operate, clean, and perform minor maintenance on equipment such as CNCs, molding machines, conveyors, blenders, fillers, and packaging lines

• Assembly & Fitting: Assemble components per specifications with precision

• Quality Checking & Documentation: Conduct visual/mechanical inspections, record observations, and report deviations in process logs

• Packaging & Material Handling: Pack finished goods, weigh and dispense materials, ensure accurate labeling and storage

• Compliance & Safety: Follow GMP, ISO, OHS protocols; maintain 5S/6S workstations and safe working conditions

3. Eligibility & Qualifications

• Educational Requirement: ITI / Diploma / Graduate (as per job spec)

• Age Group: 18–35 years

• Preferred Trades: Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Tool & Die / Packaging technology

• Good mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and basic numeracy/reading skills

• Willingness to work shifts and learn on the job

4. Training & Development

• Complete any required Basic Training (classroom/online) prior to deployment

• Engage in structured on-the-job training as per NAPS/NATS curriculum

• Supportive mentorship from supervisors with regular feedback and assessments

• Opportunity to earn a Certificate of Proficiency upon successful completion
