1. Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products. Maintaining accurate records using inventory management systems and conducting regular stock checks. 

2. Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems (like FIFO), ensuring stock levels are accurate and discrepancies are resolved. 

3. Providing guidance and leadership to store staff, including training and development opportunities. 

4. Generating reports on store operations, inventory levels, and staff performance. 

5.Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.

6.Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

8. Ability to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders.

9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

10. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

11. Experience in a supervisory role is often required.
