About Company

Hope Ek A.S.H.A. (HEA), a pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to the care of senior citizens suffering from Alzheimer’s / Dementia and their caregivers. Established in 2001 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, HEA has been at the forefront of creating awareness, offering care services, and empowering caregivers for the past 24 years. The organization was founded by Dr. Sushma Chawla, an esteemed alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, with over 44 years of medical experience. The initiative was born from her personal journey of caring for her late mother, who battled Alzheimer’s for five years. This deeply personal experience inspired Dr. Chawla to dedicate her life to supporting families facing the same challenges. In 2019, the organization has establish an Alzheimer’s Home under the name ASHA - Affectionate Secured Home for Alzheimer’s (A Day Care & Residential Care Facility) in New Delhi, currently supporting 46 patients at B-534, New Friends Colony, New Delhi with the dedicated team of caregivers, medical experts and volunteers. NGO has taken this initiative to help the needy community who are taking care of their beloved ones at home and want to send them to residential facilities when their patients become unmanageable at home or they themselves are breadwinners of their family. However, patients of stage 1 & 2 are daily coming in ASHA Day Care facility along with their domestic helpers / volunteers in the morning for their daily activities under our activity coordinators who keep them engage in physical, mental and brain-stimulating activities, cognitive retraining & rehabilitation and go back to their residences in the evening. We require Caregivers staff time to time at this "Alzheimer's Home"
