About the role
A production supervisor manages a company's production operations, under guidance of Plant Head /Production Head including the people, processes, and equipment. They ensure that production runs smoothly and safely, and that products meet quality standards
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Responsibilities
· Set daily/weekly/monthly Targets and communicate to workers or team allocated
· Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
· Oversee and coach workers
· Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular production process
· Check production output according to specifications
· Submit reports on performance and progress
· Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
· Train new workers on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
· Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
· Ensure strict adherence to testing, calibration, and audit report schedules to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
Candidate requirement
· Minimum of 0-10+ years of experience as a solar technician with supervisory responsibilities.
Qualification / Additional Certification
· B.E /High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Associate's degree or technical certification in solar photovoltaic systems preferred.

About the role
A Solar Industries Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within a production activities , ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of solar equipment by managing a team of technicians, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to safety regulations, all while maximizing energy production and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Lead and supervise a team of solar technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training on new equipment and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns.
- Preventative Maintenance:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule for all solar module manufacturing machines including panels, inverters, racking systems, and UPS, Batteries, Generators
- Monitor equipment health through regular inspections and data analysis.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with solar module manufacturing equipment’s , machines including electrical faults, power fluctuations, and system malfunctions.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for necessary repairs and parts replacements.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations related to working on high voltage systems and rooftop access.
- Conduct safety training sessions and enforce safety procedures.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor energy production data and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and potential issues to management.
- Repairs for machines/equipment should focus on ensuring long-term functionality and durability to prevent recurring damage or frequent breakdowns.
