Job Title: Centre Manager – NUA-Odisha Skill Development Program

Location: Talcher, Odisha (or any assigned district)

About the Program:

The NUA-Odisha Skill Development Program is a flagship initiative by the Government of Odisha, focused on empowering youth with future-ready skills in sectors such as Electric Mobility, Drone Technology, Agri-Tech, Infrastructure Monitoring, and more. The program is implemented in partnership with training providers like AITMC Ventures Ltd., aligning with NSQF standards and OSDA guidelines.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Centre Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our training center under the NUA-Odisha program. The ideal candidate should have prior experience managing government skill development projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate across trainers, students, government officials, and placement partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Centre Setup & Compliance

  • Ensure the training center meets infrastructure, branding, and operational norms as per NUA-Odisha/OSDA guidelines
  • Coordinate with authorities for timely inspection and approval of the center

Trainer Coordination & Batch Management

  • Coordinate Training of Trainers (ToT) activities and maintain trainer compliance records
  • Oversee trainer schedules, monitor batch-wise training progress, and ensure curriculum adherence

Mobilization & Candidate Enrollment

  • Work closely with the mobilization team to source eligible candidates
  • Monitor attendance, minimize dropouts, and ensure student engagement throughout the training

Assessment & Certification

  • Coordinate with Sector Skill Councils and Assessment Agencies
  • Ensure timely assessments, result tracking, and certification of trained candidates

MIS, Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain all necessary documentation – candidate records, attendance, photos, training logs, etc.
  • Update data on OSDA/state portal regularly and share reports with internal and external stakeholders

Placement & Industry Coordination

  • Build relationships with local industries and employers for job placement
  • Organize job drives, interviews, and post-placement tracking
  • Collect and validate placement proofs and upload them as per scheme requirements

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the point of contact for OSDA, local government officials, SSCs, and industry partners
  • Address on-ground issues, audits, or inspections related to center operations

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferred: Management, Education, Social Work)
  • 3–6 years of experience in managing skill development projects (NUA-Odisha/PMKVY/DDU-GKY etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSDA guidelines, SSC operations, and NSQF-aligned training
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Sheets, and data entry on skill portals
  • Strong leadership, documentation, and team coordination skills
  • Odia language proficiency preferred
