Job Title: Wind Turbine Installation & Erection Technician
Department: Project Execution – Installation & Commissioning
Qualification:

• ITI (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Rigger, Mechanical)

• Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mechatronics)

Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers can apply; training provided)
Job Type: Full-time, On-site/Field Work
Location: Pan-India Wind Farm Sites (remote/rural locations)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Turbine Erection & Tower Assembly:

   • Assist in unloading, staging, and erecting wind turbine towers and components (nacelle, hub, blades)

   • Bolt tightening and torqueing as per OEM specifications

   • Use of cranes, winches, and rigging tools under supervision

2. Mechanical & Electrical Installation:

   • Align and assemble mechanical parts (yaw system, gearbox, brakes)

   • Support in cable routing, terminations, and switchgear connection

   • Perform pre-commissioning checks

3. Tower Climbing & Work at Height:

   • Climb towers (up to 100 meters) using certified climbing equipment

   • Install internal components like ladders, platforms, and lift rails

4. Safety Compliance:

   • Follow strict safety procedures (PPE, fall protection, lockout/tagout)

   • Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety drills

5. Coordination & Reporting:

   • Work closely with supervisors, crane operators, and QA/QC teams

   • Report work completion, checklists, and component handling logs

Required Skills:

• Basic mechanical/electrical assembly skills

• Familiarity with hand tools, torque wrenches, and rigging equipment

• Physically fit and willing to work at heights and outdoor conditions

• Team player with discipline and adaptability.
