Key Responsibilities:
Assist skilled technicians and engineers in executing tasks related to the specific trade (Electrical, Mechanical, Fitting, Welding, Machining, etc.).
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installation of equipment and machinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to the trade.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
(a) Duration of Training : 12 months
(b) Essential Qualification: Applicant should have passed All India Trade Test (AITT) for
Craftsmen Training Scheme and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued
by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India in the respective
feeder trade mentioned above.
(c) Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship Training or undergoing
Apprenticeship Training or registered for Apprenticeship Training under the
Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible.
(d) Age limit: Minimum – 14 years of age as on 01.09.2025
(Candidates born on or before 01.09.2011)
Maximum – 25 years of age as on 01.09.2025
(Candidates born on or after 01.09.2000)
(Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates)
(e) Training will be conducted in Kolkata based Units.
(f) Candidates must register themselves to the Apprenticeship Training Portal of
MSDE, Govt. of India https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in before applying online
