Scouts Master/Guide Captain is a dedicated volunteer leader responsible for the training, development, and supervision of a local Scouts or Guides unit. The primary duties include:

• Youth Development: Planning and conducting weekly meetings, activities, and camps to deliver the official scouting and guiding program.
• Mentorship: Guiding and mentoring young people, helping them to develop essential life skills, character, and a sense of responsibility.
• Adventure and Learning: Organizing and leading outdoor activities, community service projects, and educational trips.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of unit membership, activities, and badge advancements.
• Safety and Well-being: Ensuring the safety and well-being of all young participants during all activities.
• Collaboration: Working with other leaders, parents, and local communities to support the unit’s activities.

Requirements

• Education: A minimum Graduates.
• Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable. Prior involvement with scouting or guiding is a significant advantage.
