Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead skilling and apprenticeship initiatives within an assigned geographic cluster. The ideal candidate will drive the implementation of strategic initiatives, build strong relationships with industry stakeholders, and ensure smooth operations of Skill Development Centres (SDCs). The role involves achieving business revenue targets while aligning with the organization's broader mission of enhancing workforce readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Implementation & Industry Outreach
Lead the execution of the organization’s strategic skilling initiatives within the assigned cluster.
• Identify and onboard industry partners for placement, upskilling, reskilling, and apprenticeship programs.
• Promote and facilitate industry participation in curriculum design, assessments, and training delivery.
• Liaise with industry associations and key employers to assess skill demand and align training programs accordingly.
2. Stakeholder Management
• Build and nurture strong working relationships with government bodies, industry representatives, training partners, and academic institutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for cluster-level stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and resolution of issues.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of services and alignment with partner expectations.
3. Business Revenue & Program Delivery
• Drive revenue generation through industry-linked training programs, CSR partnerships, and government-funded schemes.
• Monitor and achieve business targets for the cluster in terms of enrolments, completions, and placements.
• Analyse market trends and opportunities to expand the business footprint within the cluster.
4. Skill Development Centre (SDC) Operations
• Oversee day-to-day operations of Skill Development Centres within the cluster, ensuring quality training delivery and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to operational standards, training schedules, and audit requirements.
• Facilitate capacity-building and support to trainers and centre staff to maintain performance benchmarks.
5. Industry Engagement
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with industry partners to understand workforce requirements and promote employer-led skilling models.
• Collaborate with industries to facilitate internships, on-the-job training, guest lectures, and hiring from training programs.
• Encourage co-creation of training modules to align with evolving industry needs and technologies.
6. CSR Partnership Development
• Identify opportunities for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding to support skilling and capacity-building initiatives.
• Engage with CSR heads and corporate foundations to pitch project proposals aligned with their objectives.
• Ensure timely execution, compliance, and reporting of CSR-funded programs, demonstrating measurable impact and outcomes.
