Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Kharagpur, West Bengal

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up CNC machines (cutting, drilling, milling, or turning) as per production requirements.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, job specifications, and process sheets.

• Monitor machine operations and make program or tool adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.

• Conduct regular machine inspection and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

• Measure finished components using calipers, gauges, and micrometers to ensure dimensional accuracy.

• Follow all safety standards and quality procedures during operations.

• Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Machinist / CNC Operator or equivalent technical qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC machines in the steel fabrication or manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / other controllers) preferred.

• Ability to handle heavy fabrication components and precision machining tasks.

• Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and measurement tools.
