Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Gas Cutter responsible for cutting and shaping metal materials using gas-cutting equipment. The candidate should have strong knowledge of oxy-acetylene cutting, safety procedures, and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oxy-fuel (gas) cutting on metal sheets, plates, and structural materials.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, cutting layouts, and measurements.

• Carry out profile cutting, bevel cutting, and scrap cutting as required.

• Operate and maintain cutting torch, gas cylinders, regulators, and hoses.

• Ensure proper gas pressure settings and equipment safety checks.

• Work with fabrication teams to support welding, fitting, and assembly tasks.

• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and fire safety.

• Clean and maintain the work area and cutting tools.

• Identify material types and select the right cutting techniques.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Gas Cutter / Flame Cutter / Oxy-Fuel Operator.

• Good knowledge of metal types and industrial cutting techniques.

• Ability to measure accurately using tools like scale, tape, and square.

• Understanding of safety rules, gas handling, and fire prevention.

• Physically fit to work in industrial and fabrication environments.
