Job Summary

The Electrical Testing Technician will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and validating capacitor products as per quality standards. The role involves working in the capacitor testing laboratory, maintaining testing equipment, recording results, and supporting production quality.

A. Testing & Inspection

• Perform electrical testing of capacitors using standard lab equipment.

• Conduct tests such as capacitance, ESR, leakage current, insulation resistance, burn-in test, etc.

• Identify defective products and report to the quality team.

• Follow SOPs and testing protocols.

B. Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Operate lab testing machines and instruments safely.

• Perform daily calibration checks of testing equipment.

• Report faults in testing machines to maintenance team.

C. Quality Documentation

• Maintain test records, inspection sheets, and logbooks.

• Prepare daily testing reports and submit to supervisor.

• Ensure 100% accuracy in test data entry.

D. Safety & Compliance

• Follow electrical safety guidelines while testing.

• Use PPE (gloves, safety goggles, shoes) at all times.

• Maintain clean and organized lab environment.

E. Coordination

• Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

• Report irregularities, test failures, and improvement suggestions.

• Ability to read technical data sheets and understand capacitor specifications.
