The NAPS Apprentice will support manufacturing and production operations at Voltas Limited by assisting in assembly, testing, quality inspection, and material handling activities, while gaining hands-on industrial training under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly and sub-assembly of Room Air Conditioner components

• Operate basic manufacturing tools and equipment as per work instructions

• Support production line activities to meet daily output targets

• Perform visual inspection and basic quality checks of components and finished products

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality norms

• Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the workstation

• Assist supervisors and senior technicians as required

• Report production issues, defects, or safety concerns to the line supervisor

• Adhere to shift schedules and attendance requirements

Training & Learning Scope

• On-the-job training in electronics manufacturing processes

• Exposure to assembly line operations and quality control practices

• Understanding of workplace safety, 5S, and basic industrial discipline

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Below 30 Years

• Gender: Male / Female

• Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Any Degree / 12th / 10th

• Year of Passing: 2020 and above

Stipend & Benefits

• ITI / Diploma: ₹18,000 + ₹1,500 (DBT) per month

• Degree / 12th / 10th: ₹14,930 + ₹1,500 (DBT) per month

• Attendance Bonus / Skill Allowance: ₹600 per month

• Overtime (OT) applicable

• Free transportation (bus facility)

Shift Details

• 1st Shift: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM

• 2nd Shift: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 06:30 AM
