Job Title - Sewing Machine Operator
Department: Production – Trim Shop
Industry: Automotive Seat Manufacturing
Reports To: Sewing/Trim Supervisor
Role - To operate industrial sewing machines for stitching automotive seat covers and trim components, ensuring high-quality output and meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities - Key Responsibilities
Operate industrial sewing machines (flatbed, overlock, double-needle, walking foot).
Stitch seat covers using fabric, leather, vinyl, and foam materials as per patterns and SOPs.
Maintain seam accuracy, stitch consistency, and overall product quality.
Inspect finished components and report defects or deviations.
Perform basic machine maintenance (cleaning, needle replacement, tension adjustment).
Follow safety guidelines, 5S practices, and maintain a clean workstation.
Achieve daily production targets and cycle times.
Skills & Competencies
Proficient in industrial sewing machine operation.
Ability to read patterns, work instructions, and technical drawings.
Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
Knowledge of automotive seat stitching techniques (optional but preferred).
Teamwork, discipline, and ability to work under time constraints.
Qualifications & Experience
10th/12th pass; vocational training in sewing preferred.
1–3 years sewing experience; automotive seat manufacturing is an advantage.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for 2 hours (as those will be the standing Sewing Machine) and break of 10 minutes thereafter.
Good vision and fine motor skill coordination.

Shift timings – 7 AM – 3:30 PM and 3:30 – 12 PM
Standing machines with Japanese Technology are used at the Plant
Subsidised food @16Rs/ Day
