Job Summary :

As Administration Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative operations of an eye care facility or hospital. This role ensures smooth functioning of patient services, compliance with healthcare regulations, and efficient coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in healthcare administration and a focus on ophthalmology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Supervise front office, patient registration, billing, and scheduling processes.
    • Ensure efficient patient flow and minimize waiting times.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain adherence to healthcare standards, NABH/JCI accreditation requirements, and local regulations.
    • Implement and monitor quality control measures for patient safety and service excellence.
  • Financial Administration:
    • Oversee budgeting, expense control, and revenue cycle management.
    • Coordinate with finance teams for accurate billing and insurance claims processing.
  • Human Resource Management:
    • Recruit, train, and manage administrative staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and ensure staff development.
  • Inventory & Facility Management:
    • Monitor procurement and stock of ophthalmic equipment, lenses, and consumables.
    • Ensure maintenance of infrastructure and medical equipment.
  • Patient Experience & Customer Service:
    • Address patient grievances and ensure high satisfaction levels.
    • Develop strategies for improving patient engagement and loyalty.
  • Coordination with Clinical Teams:
    • Support ophthalmologists and optometrists in scheduling surgeries and consultations.
    • Facilitate coordination between diagnostic, surgical, and outpatient departments.
