Junior Fashion Designer – Client-Facing Role

Role Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Fashion Designer who thrives in a client-centric environment. This role blends creative design with strategic communication, purchasing coordination, and hands-on client engagement. You’ll be the bridge between design vision and client satisfaction, ensuring every uniform reflects our brand promise.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Interaction & Communication

- Attend client meetings to understand design requirements, brand aesthetics, and functional needs

- Present mood boards, sketches, and fabric samples tailored to client briefs

- Incorporate client feedback into iterative design revisions

- Maintain clear, professional communication across WhatsApp, email, and in-person channels

- Design Development

- Assist in conceptualizing uniform designs aligned with industry trends and client branding

- Create technical sketches, color palettes, and style variations

- Collaborate with senior designers and pattern makers for sample development

- Purchase & Vendor Coordination

- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories based on design and budget requirements

- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance

- Maintain purchase records and assist in cost estimation for client proposals

- Production Support

- Oversee sample creation and ensure alignment with approved designs

- Coordinate with production teams to resolve design-related queries

- Conduct quality checks before final delivery

- Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain organized records of client briefs, design iterations, and purchase logs

- Prepare client-ready presentations and follow-up reports

Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design or Textile Design

- 0-0.6 years of experience in apparel or uniform design (internships count!)

- Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools

- Understanding of garment construction and fabric behavior
