Academic Counselor (VEL)

Role Overview

We are looking for Academic Counsellors who will be responsible for driving student enrolments through effective counselling, understanding learner needs, and recommending the right learning solutions. The role involves B2C inside/outside sales and requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel students and parents on Vedantu's learning programs through calls, virtual meetings or face-to-face interactions.
  • Understand student requirements, learning goals, and recommend suitable courses.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and conversion targets.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and follow up with leads effectively.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with students and parents.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous upskilling to improve sales productivity.

Requirements

  • Any graduate (Preferred: B.Com / BBA / BA / B.Sc / MBA / PGDM, etc.)
  • Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude are welcome.
  • 13 years of experience in B2C Sales / Customer Service / Tele-sales / Academic counselling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Hindi language)
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
