We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience in GIS development and customization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ArcFm Web ArcFM ArcObjects ArcPY and ArcGIS JavaScript. This role involves working on innovative projects that leverage generative AI and Oracle Spatial. The position is hybrid with no travel required and operates during the day shift.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize GIS applications using ArcFm Web ArcFM ArcObjects and ArcPY to meet project requirements.
  • Utilize ArcGIS JavaScript to enhance web-based GIS solutions and improve user experience.
  • Implement generative AI techniques to optimize GIS data processing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Spatial into GIS applications for enhanced spatial data management.
  • Provide technical expertise in GIS development to support ongoing maintenance and support projects.
  • Ensure the scalability and performance of GIS applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to GIS applications and customization.
  • Document development processes and create user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and training.
  • Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
  • Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work to maintain productivity and collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
  • Contribute to the companys mission by developing GIS solutions that have a positive impact on society.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and best practices for quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in ArcFm Web ArcFM ArcObjects ArcPY and ArcGIS JavaScript customization.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in generative AI and its application in GIS development.
  • Have experience with Oracle Spatial for effective spatial data management.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with GIS technologies.
  • Display strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in maintenance and support within the GIS domain is a plus.
