DESCRIPTION

Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side.  With a workforce over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry. CDL is currently looking for a Dyeing Operators to operate fabric-dyeing machines.

 The Dyeing Operators shall be reporting to the Dyeing Supervisor.

What you will be doing:

·        Ensure that batch number on I.D ticket and issue voucher tally before loading in machine

·        Record all dyeing samples on continuity card as per procedure in place

·        Fill process sheet with all required details as per instruction

·        Follow before pretreatment & dyeing zero checklist for no occurrence

·        Ensure zero off shade due to production issues, dye stain, bad handfeel, unlevel and matching issues

·        Ensure that the dosing Pump works according to standard set

·        Escalate all machine malfunction causing delay or any abnormal machine noise.

·        Maintain 6S at machines (before & after dyeing a batch)

·        Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

·        Adhere to the company’s vision, mission and values

What are we looking for?

·        Candidate should be literate

·        Previous dyeing experience will be an advantage

·        Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset

·        Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

·        Ability to work on shift system and perform heavy duty tasks
