Job Title: Security Guard

Job Summary:
A Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and premises by maintaining surveillance, monitoring security systems, and conducting regular patrols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to ensure security of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas to identify and address any security concerns.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for signs of theft, fire, or other hazards.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity.
• Enforce security policies and procedures.
• Prepare and submit accurate incident reports and logs.
• Assist emergency services during incidents such as fire or medical emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information.
• Ensure the security and functionality of security equipment.
• Respond to customer or employee inquiries related to security matters.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a security guard or in a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
• Physical stamina and ability to work long shifts.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response protocols (preferred).

Working Conditions:

• Regularly works in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• May be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
