Serve food and beverages according to service standards and sequence of service.
Ensure proper setup and cleanliness of tables, side stations, and service areas.
Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
Replenish cutlery, crockery, glassware, napkins, and condiments as per operational standards.
Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery efficiently and discreetly.
Assist in mise-en-place before service and breakdown after service.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly, regardless of workload or time of day.
Maintain positive guest relations and handle guest complaints politely, escalating when required.
Be knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, promotions, and hotel services.
Ensure proper handling and storage of food items as per hygiene norms.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service guidelines.
Ensure cleanliness of restaurant floor, service stations, furniture, and equipment.
Assist in room service, banquet service, or outdoor catering as assigned.
Handle guest requests such as special dietary needs, additional cutlery, or seating preferences.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Attend guest calls, service requests, and complaints in assigned service areas.
Support achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction scores.
Maintain discipline, grooming standards, and professional conduct.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management in the interest of hotel operations.
