Job Summary :

Position Overview

The Sales Trainee will be responsible for assisting Sales Executive for handling sales, client servicing, and field operations outside the showroom. This role includes meeting prospective customers, retailers, and partners, ensuring smooth delivery coordination, and supporting marketing/sales activities in the field. It requires good communication, product knowledge, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit clients, retailers, and distributors to promote and sell jewellery products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Conduct field visits to showcase product catalogues, samples, and new collections.
  • Coordinate with the showroom/office for order processing, delivery, and after-sales service.
  • Assist in organising exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional events.
  • Collect feedback from customers and share insights with management for product/market improvement.
  • Maintain field sales reports, customer databases, and visit records.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends during field visits.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of jewellery products (gold, diamonds, gemstones, etc.) or willingness to learn.
  • Customer service orientation with sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and manage time effectively.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM, reporting tools).
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven.
