Position Title: Assistant / Operator

Shift: Rotational (8 Hours / 12 Hours)

1. Purpose of the Role

The Assistant/Operator is responsible for operating production machines, ensuring smooth manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily production targets while following safety and operational guidelines.

2. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Operate process machines as per the production plan and work instructions.

• Ensure timely machine start-up, proper operation, and safe shutdown.

• Monitor machine performance and production output during the shift.

• Inspect product quality and report any defects or deviations.

• Perform routine machine checks and report abnormalities to the supervisor.

• Maintain 5S standards and cleanliness at the workstation.

• Record production data including quantity produced, downtime, and material usage.

• Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and company policies strictly.

• Assist in minor troubleshooting and basic machine changeovers.

• Coordinate with the Quality team for in-process inspections and corrective actions.

• Support the team in achieving daily and monthly production targets.

3. Qualification & Skill Requirements

Educational Qualification:

• 10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma / Graduate

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of machine operations and shop-floor activities

• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and extended hours if required

• Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment

• Teamwork and discipline on the shop floor

4. Working Conditions

• Factory / plant environment

• Rotational shifts (8 hours / 12 hours as per production requirement)

• Standing work and machine handling involved

• Use of safety equipment as per company policy

5. Compensation & Benefits

Salary Structure (Gross):

• 10th / 12th: ₹16,300 (8 Hrs) / ₹22,467 (12 Hrs with OT)

• ITI / Diploma: ₹16,900 (8 Hrs) / ₹23,317 (12 Hrs with OT)

• Graduate: ₹17,300 (8 Hrs) / ₹23,883 (12 Hrs with OT)
