Required -   Security Guard (Armed)

Core Responsibilities

• Armed Protection: Carrying a firearm to protect people and assets from threats, using it only as a last resort.
• Patrol and Surveillance: Conducting regular patrols of premises, monitoring CCTV, and inspecting buildings to detect security breaches, vandalism, or safety hazards.
• Access Control: Verifying identities and credentials, managing visitor logs, and controlling vehicle entry to secure areas.
• Emergency Response: Acting as a first responder to alarms, fires, or medical crises and assisting with evacuations.
• Reporting: Documenting daily activities and writing detailed reports of security incidents.
• Coordination: Communicating with law enforcement and emergency services. 

Requirements and Qualifications

• Licensing: Valid state-issued armed security license/guard card.
• Training: Certified training in firearms proficiency, self-defense, and, often, first aid/CPR.
• Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or the military is typically required.
• Skills: Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills under pressure. 

Physical and Mental Demands

• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand or walk for long periods, patrol, and, in some cases, restrain individuals.
• Discretion: Sound judgment and high ethical standards regarding the use of force.
