Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and commissioning of HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgear, MCC, PCC, and motors.

• Perform primary & secondary injection testing of breakers and relays.

• Carry out testing of protective relays (numerical & conventional).

• Perform IR, PI, Tan Delta, contact resistance, and HV testing of electrical equipment.

• Testing of cables (HT/LT), busbars, earthing systems, and grounding network.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate during breakdown maintenance.

• Prepare and maintain test reports, inspection records, and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, PTW system, and LOTO procedures.

• Assist during plant shutdowns and major maintenance activities.

• Coordinate with OEMs and contractors during commissioning activities.

Qualification:

• B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)

• Additional certification in Testing & Commissioning preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in refinery / power plant / steel plant / heavy industry

• Hands-on experience in HT (11kV / 33kV) system testing preferred

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of electrical protection systems

• Ability to read SLD, wiring diagrams, and schematics

• Familiarity with testing equipment (Megger, Omicron, CT Analyzer, etc.)

• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Strong understanding of electrical safety practices
