About Wholesale Banking Coverage Group
The Wholesale Banking Coverage Group (WBCG) focusses on doing business with customers such as the Government, Strategic, large and mid-corporates and the SMEs across industries like Infrastructure, Engineering, Chemicals, Oil& Gas, Metals, textiles etc. The Corporate lending business emphasizes on doing business with higher rated corporates with a focus on garnering a higher share of the cash flows by providing working capital facilities.
AbouttheRole
At Axis, we are bringing an integrated approach to how we provide Financial Sponsors Solutions. We are crafting our solutions by including the skills of our corporate and investment bank, helping clients to fund, transact and drive business forward. To facilitate the delivery of integrated, end-to-end solutions that draw on all relevant parts of the bank, our dedicated Financial Sponsor Coverage Team meets regularly to discuss client needs as they evolve. Its role is to ensure clients enjoy a single point of contact, with the Relationship Manager acting as the conduit for a full suite of Axis services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support Head of Financial Sponsors Coverage in building & managing relationships with targeted Financial Sponsors, both Global & Domestic
  • Drive revenue and cross sell target in the mapped set of FSs
  • Own/handle/monitor mapped relationships to establish Axis bank as a preferred banking partner to enhance Banks Share of Wallet (SoW) across banking products with the customers, establishing high standards of delivery
  • Extensively liaising with various departments, including subsidiaries and be a focal point of delivery

Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

  • Post-Graduation preferably MBA(Finance) from Tier-I Management Institute or equivalent professional degree
  • Min. 8-10 Years of relevant experience as a Coverage RM for Financial Sponsors

Role Proficiencies:

For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:

  • Knowledge of banking regulations, norms and Trade Finance
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of banking products and services
  • Good credit knowledge
  • Analytical skills
  • Market intelligence
  • Client servicing role in Corporate Banking/Transaction Banking/Financial Institutions
