Production Intern – Furniture

Location: Hyderabad (or as per company requirement)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Intern to support our manufacturing operations in modular furniture and interior works. The intern will assist in production planning, & floor coordination, material tracking, quality checks, and documentation. This role provides practical exposure to modular furniture manufacturing processes.

Educational Qualification:

·         B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

·         OR

·         Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in day-to-day production activities in the factory.

·         Support in preparing production schedules and planning.

·         Monitor machine operations such as CNC, edge banding, and cutting machines.

·         Assist in material planning and stock tracking.

·         Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams.

·         Support in quality inspection of finished products.

·         Maintain production reports and documentation.

·         Assist in cutlist verification and job order tracking.

·         Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Required Skills:

·         Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.

·         Understanding of modular furniture production (preferred).

·         Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.

·         Basic knowledge of MS Excel.

·         Good communication and coordination skills.

·         Willingness to work on the shop floor and learn.

Preferred Knowledge (Added Advantage):

·         Knowledge of CNC machines.

·         Basic understanding of AutoCAD.

·         Exposure to cutlist preparation.

·         Understanding of modular furniture components.
