Multiple Roles in Indian Boxing

The Boxing Federation of India is inviting applications for several support staff and management roles to work with national-level boxing programs and elite athletes.

These positions will support National Coaching Camps and elite boxer development programs across India.

Open Positions

3️⃣ Sports Psychologist • Postgraduate degree in Sports Psychology or Clinical/Counselling Psychology
* Registered with a recognized professional body (e.g., RCI)
* Minimum 5 years experience, preferably with elite athletes

Duties -

• Provide psychological support to athletes to improve mental strength, focus, and confidence 🧠

• Help athletes manage stress, anxiety, and pressure during training and competitions

• Conduct mental skills training such as goal setting, visualization, concentration, and motivation techniques

• Work with athletes to improve performance mindset and emotional control during competitions

• Provide counselling support for issues related to performance, injury recovery, or personal challenges

• Collaborate with coaches, physiotherapists, and the sports science team to support overall athlete development

• Conduct workshops and sessions on mental resilience, teamwork, and motivation

• Monitor athletes’ mental well-being and develop strategies to maintain a healthy psychological state

• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethical standards in all counselling and assessment processes
