Job Summary
The Oncology/Pathology Medical Representative acts as the key liaison between the pharmaceutical/diagnostics company and healthcare professionals (Oncologists, Pathologists, Hematologists). This role involves promoting specialized oncology medicines and advanced diagnostic testing services to increase awareness, drive prescriptions, and ensure patient access to life-saving treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Promotion & Detailing: Promote a portfolio of oncology drugs/diagnostic tests to oncologists, pathologists, and hospital decision-makers.
- Presentation: Deliver technical presentations detailing product composition, mechanism of action, clinical data, and patient benefits to support sales claims.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and high-prescribing physicians within the oncology specialty.
- Territory Management: Plan and execute daily visits to hospitals, clinics, and pathology labs to meet sales targets.
- Market Analysis & Feedback: Monitor competitor activities, new product launches, and market trends to adjust strategies.
