Key Responsibilities

• Compliance & Regulations: Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, safety, and zoning laws.
• Calculations & Technical Reports: Perform hydraulic, hydrologic, or structural calculations to determine project requirements.
• Project Documentation: Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), material specs, and reports.
• Coordination & Support: Coordinate with architects, project managers, and contractors; provide support during construction to resolve site issues. 
• Design & Modeling: Create detailed engineering plans, 3D models, and blueprints for site development, drainage, roadway, and utility projects.
• Software Application: Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and structural analysis tools for design developmen.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in civil design is typical.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is often preferred or required for senior roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
