Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Plant Biologist to join an innovative, AI-driven research project 🚀 In this fully remote, contract-based role, you will work at the intersection of plant science and artificial intelligence, contributing to advanced research in plant biology, genetics, and environmental interactions. Key Responsibilities:
🌱 Conduct in-depth research on plant biology, genetics, and cellular processes
🧪 Collect, analyze, and document plant samples from diverse environments
📊 Design and execute experiments to study plant responses to environmental factors
🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI model development
🧬 Integrate biology, chemistry, and geology insights into research workflows
📝 Prepare detailed reports and communicate scientific findings effectively

Required Qualifications:
✔️ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
✔️ Strong expertise in plant biology and genetics
✔️ Experience with sample collection, laboratory work, and experimental design
✔️ Understanding of chemistry and geology integration in biological research
✔️ Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
✔️ Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Technical Skills:
🧪 Hands-on experience with plant biology lab techniques and field research
🧬 Knowledge of genetic analysis and plant cellular processes
📊 Data analysis and interpretation of experimental results
🤖 Familiarity with AI, data annotation, or computational biology (preferred)
📝 Experience in rubric design or scientific dataset evaluation (a plus)

Additional Requirements:
🌍 Comfortable working in a fully remote, project-based setup
⏳ Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines independently
🎓 Master’s or PhD in a relevant field is an advantage
💰 Salary: $40 – $60 per hour (approximately ₹3,300 – ₹5,000/hour, paid in Indian currency based on current exchange rates). Salary in hand will be calculated on an hourly basis, and this is a purely project-based role.
